Update: Spectre and Meltdown

January 16, 2018

As we alerted you last week, Spectre and Meltdown are two newly announced vulnerabilities on all modern processors installed in workstations and servers.  We are continuing to work through remediation, but it is important for you to understand that this is a very dynamic situation as many manufacturers are still developing their response and countermeasures.

We are working with our partners and vendors to stay updated as patches and Best Practices are developed.  Our main goal is to be ready as quickly as possible to deploy these solutions once each manufacturer’s remedy is fully solidified.

We are planning to host a brief webinar to provide a more detailed update on our research and keep each of you as informed as possible.  We will start the webinar with a high-level executive update then transition to the more technical aspects to ensure the information most relevant to you is covered first.  We will be taking questions both during and following the webinar.

Please understand that we expect this to be a prolonged event as much of the information is still being discovered.

Thank you and stay tuned for details on the upcoming webinar!
